There can, however, be property-specific charges or services available at an additional cost. When that is the case, the information is displayed in the villa listing or during the booking process.
Here is a full breakdown of what you can expect when booking your stay through RLVC.
Standard Inclusions in Every RLVC Villa
Every RLVC villa page provides a detailed overview of the property, its facilities and the amenities available during your stay.
The price shown for your selected dates covers the accommodation for that period and the villa amenities listed as included on the property page, unless something is specifically marked otherwise or stated as available on request.
Depending on the villa, listed amenities can include:
- Private swimming pool
- Air conditioning
- Wi-Fi
- Bed linen
- Towels
- Fully equipped kitchen
- Outdoor and leisure facilities
- Parking
- Other villa-specific amenities and facilities
Because every property is different, the individual villa page should always be your main reference. If a particular amenity or service is available only on request or under specific conditions, this will be indicated in the listing.
VAT is included in the displayed booking conditions.
Tourist tax is also included for the vast majority of villas. There are only a few properties where tourist tax is charged separately. In those cases, this is clearly stated in the villa listing and during the booking process, so you can see it before confirming your reservation.
What About Extras? Transparent Add-On Pricing
Not every additional charge applies to every villa or every booking.
Some properties may have additional fees depending on the villa itself, the type of stay, or specific guest requirements.
One example is the final cleaning fee. At some villas, final cleaning is already included, while others charge it separately. Where applicable, cleaning fees generally range from approximately €200 to €700, depending on the property.
Other possible additional charges include a pet fee at villas that accept pets and a wedding or event fee when a property is booked for a wedding, celebration or another type of event.
Where a pet fee applies, the stated fee generally refers to one dog. If you are planning to travel with two or more dogs, please contact the RLVC team in advance so that the conditions, availability and any additional charges can be confirmed directly with the property.
Certain optional services or amenities may also be marked as available on request.
Optional Services and Special Requests
Depending on the property, additional amenities and services may be available for an extra charge or on request. These can include:

How RLVC Pricing Compares to Other Platforms
Not every accommodation platform structures its pricing in the same way, which is why it is important to understand exactly what makes up the total price of your stay.
Airbnb
On Airbnb, the total reservation price can consist of the nightly accommodation rate plus additional fees established by the host, Airbnb service fees and applicable taxes. Hosts can, for example, add separate cleaning, pet and extra-guest fees. Airbnb itself explains that the total reservation price can include the nightly price, additional host fees, Airbnb service fees and taxes.
Airbnb has made its pricing display more transparent in recent years. Since 2025, guests globally see a total price that includes fees before taxes when browsing search results. Depending on the location and booking, applicable taxes may still form a separate component of the price breakdown.
In other words, even when the overall price is shown upfront, the final Airbnb amount can still be made up of several separate components — such as the accommodation price, cleaning or other host fees, Airbnb service fees and applicable taxes.
Booking.com
Booking.com also works with property-specific pricing. According to Booking.com, rates are set by accommodation providers, while additional taxes and fees may apply depending on factors such as the property, location, room or accommodation type and number of guests. The platform indicates during the booking process whether these charges are included or excluded.
Its accommodation pricing system can include additional charges on top of the base accommodation price, such as city or tourist taxes, cleaning fees, pet fees and other property-specific or usage-based charges. These may be included, excluded or conditional depending on the individual property.
This means that when comparing properties on large booking platforms, it is worth checking the complete price breakdown rather than comparing the accommodation rate alone.
RLVC: Know What You Are Paying For
RLVC takes a villa-specific approach to pricing.
When you select your dates, you can review the villa's price alongside its booking conditions and property-specific information. The price covers the accommodation for the selected period together with the amenities stated as included on the villa page.
Through the RLVC platform, you pay the accommodation price for your selected dates according to the payment terms stated in the booking policy. Any additional property-specific charges that apply to your stay, such as a final cleaning fee, pet fee, wedding or event fee, or other applicable extras, are paid directly at the villa, rather than through the RLVC platform.
This distinction is clearly communicated so you know what is paid through RLVC and what, if applicable, is payable directly at the property.
If a mandatory additional charge applies, such as a final cleaning fee at a particular property, it is clearly indicated on the villa page. Tourist tax is included at almost all RLVC villas, with the small number of exceptions clearly highlighted in the listing and booking process.
There is also no separate RLVC guest service fee added on top of the villa price.
The principle is simple: the accommodation price and applicable conditions are clearly presented before you book, while any additional charges payable at the villa are stated separately. This allows you to understand the full cost structure of your stay in advance, without confusing platform fees or unexpected additions.
