This page explains which cookies and similar technologies we use on this website, what each one is for and how long it stays on your device. The tables below are generated from our own cookie register, so they reflect what the site actually sets rather than a description written once and left to age.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. It lets the site remember things between page loads — that you are in the middle of a booking, which currency you chose, or that you have already answered the cookie banner. Some of the technologies listed below are not strictly cookies but work in a similar way, such as local storage; we list them here too so the picture is complete.

How we group cookies

We sort every cookie into one of three groups. Necessary cookies are always active: the site cannot function without them — you could not make a booking or stay signed in to the guest portal — and they also cover the choices you ask us to remember as you browse, such as your currency or the villas you save to your favourites. The other two groups are only used if you allow them.

• Necessary — required for the site to work, and to remember choices you make such as your currency, saved villas and recently viewed villas.
• Analytics — help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
• Advertising — measure our advertising and show you relevant offers elsewhere.

Your choice

You chose which groups to allow when you first visited. You can change your mind at any time using the buttons at the bottom of this page, and you can withdraw your consent entirely, which clears everything we stored about your choice and shows you the banner again. Refusing the optional groups does not stop you from using the site or making a booking.

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser's own settings. Doing so for the necessary cookies will prevent parts of the site, including the booking process, from working properly.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by other companies whose services appear on our pages, such as the maps on our destination pages or our payment provider on the checkout page. Where a cookie is set by someone else, the tables below name the provider and link to their own privacy policy, because your data is handled under their terms as well as ours.
